Our products
Nearly all the products stem from a haberdashery shop in Toulon that closed in 1944. The inventory is comprised of: laces, embroideries, ribbons, braids, biais tapes, cords, threads (sewing threads, embroidery threads, tapestry wool, cotton threads, silk threads, linen threads and polyester threads), zip fastenings, belt buckles (made from wood, bone, horn, mother of pearl, metal and plastic), shoelaces but also some typical haberdashery accessories such as bobbins for lace, safety pins, sewing needles, press studs etc.
Occasionally, this inventory is completed by more modern albeit ancient discoveries, for example crochet and knitting needles, sewing boxes etc.
Exhibitions
The shop windows are the perfect place to present the work of artists and craftsmen exhibiting a variety of skills … Throughout December 2016, during the ArtyShow event, Catherine Corthésy (www.catherinecorthesy.ch) has been our first guest.
Products in the shop, not online
These items here are too disparate, unique and almost impossible to be found again. Therefore they are not sold in the e-shop but only in our shop at La Chaux-de-Fonds. Nonetheless, if you are not able to come to the shop, do not hesitate to contact me and I would be pleased to send the requested item to you!
